Linux/Unix Logging

All Unix and Unix-like systems share a common logging facility that's highly-configurable by the system admin.

This course will show you how to configure logging to suit your needs and tastes. You'll learn advanced logging topics such as how to log to remote systems and how to send logging messages to pagers and cell phones.

Prerequisites

You should be familiar with running daemons (services) on Linux or Unix systems.
