Intro To Regular Expressions

If you don't know what regular expressions are, this course is not for you at this time. If you do know what they are, rejoice in the fact that this course will bring you up to speed quickly. Emphasis will be placed on regular expressions as they are implemented in GNU software, such as [g]awk, and in Perl.

Prerequisites

You need to know that you need to know regular expressions. If you don't know, wait until you do before you take this course. Windows users seldom have a need to know regular expressions.

Get plenty of sleep the night before the class and clear your mind of clutter.
